Bilasure M Tablet is a combination of Bilastine and Montelukast. This medicine is used to relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, redness of your nose, watery eyes, itching, rash etc. It stops the action of a natural substance called histamine produced in your body during an allergic reaction.
The common side effects of Bilasure M Tablet are headache, dizziness, and drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery that requires high mental alertness after taking this medicine. If you notice any severe side effects, consult your doctor immediately.
You can take Bilasure M Tablet on an empty stomach or one hour before or two hours after a meal. Taking this medicine with food or juice can lower its effects.
Bilasure M Tablet is only recommended in the presence of allergic symptoms and use only for the prescribed period. Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement in your symptoms after the treatment. Bilasure M Tablet is recommended for adolescents and adults (12 years of age and over).
Before taking Bilasure M Tablet, tell your doctor if you have any medical condition like liver, kidney or heart disease. Inform your doctor about any other medications that you are taking because many of them may reduce or alter the efficacy of this medicine. If you are pregnant or nursing, you should consult your doctor before using this medication.

What is it prescribed for?
Allergic rhinitis or hay fever is a common condition that occurs as part of the body’s way of responding to external factors like allergens. The body’s defence system (immune system) produces a response by releasing antibodies to the allergens or foreign substances. Allergens are usually harmless and may cause a minimal allergic response in your body. Bilasure M Tablet is used to treat symptoms of hay fever such as sneezing, runny nose, redness, itching, and watery eyes.
Urticaria or hives are itchy rashes that are found on your skin. It is triggered by an allergic reaction to food, medicines (like some antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines such as aspirin, high blood pressure medicines such as captopril) or other irritants in the environment. Bilasure M Tablet is used to treat symptoms of urticaria like swelling, redness, itching, etc.
When not to use?
Avoid using Bilasure M Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulties, etc.
If you missed a dose of Bilasure M Tablet at a given time, then take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Never take more than the prescribed dose of Bilasure M Tablet. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of this medicine, go to the emergency department of your local hospital.
