AB Phylline capsule is used for breathing difficulty associated with lung-related disorders like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). AB Phylline capsule contains acebrophylline as its active ingredient. This medicine promotes muscle relaxation around the airway and inhibits mucous secretion, thus clearing the airway and also eases breathing. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor at the exact dose and duration. You can take the AB Phylline tablet with or without food. This medicine should not be used during an acute asthma attack. Inform your doctor about all your medical and medication history as well as any supplements you are currently taking.

Uses of Ab Phylline 100 MG

AB Phylline capsule is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchial asthma in adults.

Contraindications of Ab Phylline 100 MG

  • If you are allergic to Ambroxol, Acebrophylline, Theophylline or any other ingredients of AB Phylline capsule.
  • If you have any heart disease such as low blood pressure, unstable blood pressure and abnormal heart rate.
  • If you have kidney or liver disease.

Dosage of Ab Phylline 100 MG


The symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, blood in the vomit, restlessness, increased limb movements, seizures and increased heart rate. In case of an overdose, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

If you have missed any dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember it. If it’s time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of this medicine to compensate for the missed one. Do not stop taking AB Phylline capsule without consulting your doctor.
